| Pick up: |
|
| Via Rent A Car requires clients to meet the minimum age and provide: |
|

Car Hire confirmation voucher. |
|
Passport |
|
Valid driver license for main driver & each additional driver. |
|
Valid credit card or cash for insurance and deposit |
|
| Driver’s requirements: |
|
| Client has to present valid driving licence which must be valid at the time of rental and remain valid throughout the rental period. |
|
| Minimum age requirement when renting Peugeot 406 TM and Peugeot 406 TA is 27 years old and 3 years experience. |
|
| All other cars - 21 years old and 1 year experience. |
|
| Additional Driver: |
|
| The contract covers only one driver. Each additional driver must be included in the contract at a cost of 5.00 CUC per day. Additional driver of Cuban nationality can be also included at a cost of 30.00 CUC per day. |
|
| Fuel: |
|
| All vehicles are collected with full tank of fuel. All Via Rent a Car vehicles are using “special” which is mandatory. If the tank isn't returned full, Via Rent a Car will charge the customer the difference according to the refuelling charges which is written on the rental agreement at the rental time. |
|
| Extra Equipment: |
|
| Via Rent a Car does not offer child seats. |
|
| Vehicle Category: |
|
| Via Rent a Car confirms model of the car (not category). |
|
| Refundable Deposit: |
|
| When you rent a car with Via Rent a Car, you must make a warranty deposit. This amount will be refunded to you at the end of the rental period if the car is returned in the same condition it was collected. |
|
| The deposit is payable locally in CUC by cash or credit card (credit cards issued by American banks are not accepted) and is: |

| Insurance: |
|
| Via Rent a Car offers a single general coverage insurance policy covering all risks, legal responsibility and medical expenses, following the filing of a police report. Insurance is not compulsory and instead client can pay additional warranty deposit of 600.00 CUC which will be refunded when the car is returned in the same conditions it was collected. |

| One Way Drop Off Fee |
|
| If a car is dropped off in a province other than the one it was initially rented, there is an additional charge of 0.15 CUC per km when rent is for 1 – 6 days and 0.12 CUC per km when rent is for 7 or more days. |

| Accidents: |
|
| In case of an accident/damage client must immediately report the incident to the police and obtain a complete police statement concerning the accident. Any damage must be reported to Via Rent a Car within 24 hours. Insurance will not cover any damage when driving drunk or on drugs. |
|
| Breakdown vehicle assistance: |
|
| Please check that you are provided with breakdown/vehicle assistance provision and telephone numbers from Via Rent a Car at the time of vehicle collection. |
|
| Return of the Vehicle: |
|
|
Client has to return the car according to the agreed date, time and station. |
|
If the vehicle returned to a different location than agreed, Via Rent a Car may charge a "one way fee". |
|
Vehicle has to be returned in the same conditions as when was rented. |
|
If vehicle is returned with damages, Via Rent a Car will charge client according to the insurance policy and rental conditions. |
|
| Traffic Violations: |
|
| Parking tickets and any traffic violations are the responsibility of the client. Police will write on rental agreement if fines are payable. Clients should never pay any fines on the spot. Fines are payable to Via Rent a Car when car is returned. |
